Lotte Vocking (b. 2000) is a visual artist working primarily with film and installation, but also with text, photography, and sculpture. She studied Mixed Media at LUCA school of arts in Gent (BE) and, holds a BA Photography, Film and the Digital at AKV St. Joost in Breda (NL). Lotte’s practice centers around affiliations between human, object and the camera.

One of her research questions is to look at framing, or the frame in diverse ways. For example, looking at it as a physical thing, or how a filmed moment takes on meaning and value via the act of framing. Her current work is focused on the concept of everyday miracles and how the moving image can construct an environment to perceive them as such.
